Seven congregations of the Heartland Region of the U.S. Federation of the Sisters of St. Joseph joined together in 2007 to form one united Congregation of St. Joseph. This is a new moment with new and exciting opportunities for all who work and pray with us and for all who might wish to join us in mission as a sister, associate or staff person.

CSJs (Congregation of St. Joseph sisters) engage in a wide range of ministries. We initiate and participate in community organizations and are advocates for peace, justice and systemic change. We are social and parish workers, counselors, educators, pastoral ministers, chaplains, spiritual directors, administrators, bereavement specialists, nurses, authors, environmentalists, artists, musicians, etc.
